As snow and ice continue to blanket large parts of the north, Aberdeenshire Council has declared a major incident, with some isolated communities cut off and supplies in shops running low.
It’s been another day of misery with hundreds of schools staying shut.
Travel continues to be disrupted with roads blocked, while rail services and some flights have been cancelled.
