Angus social supermarket to expand after food saving success

The social enterprise is preparing to open a shop in Brechin

A social supermarket in Angus is poised for expansion – after saving a jumbo jet’s weight in food from going to landfill.

It’s estimated that since S-Mart opened in Forfar in 2020 local shoppers have cut £3.5 million from their grocery spending.
