An Angus mother whose baby died when they both fell asleep together, is warning other parents about the risks of co-sleeping.

Dawn Fernand woke up after an early morning feed to find her seven week old daughter had stopped breathing.

It suggests some babies are dying in ‘high-risk’ co-sleeping situations.
