An agreement has been reached which should increase the number of GPs in Scotland.
Scottish health secretary Neil Gray has pledged £531m for GPs across the country over the next three years to stabilise practices and get more staff onto the frontline.
The announcement comes following agreement with the British Medical Association (BMA) over additional funding for GP services.
The BMA says it’s a “significant step in the right direction”.
