Aberdeenshire teachers walk out as strikes continue

Teachers are asking for a 10% pay rise, a deal the Scottish Government says is unaffordable

Teachers across Aberdeenshire walked out on strike today as part of 16 days of action in a dispute over pay.

They were joined by staff in the Borders with 10 local authorities set to be affected this week.

Further meetings will be held again later this week.
