Aberdeen students protest over language courses cuts

The university said the decision was taken was a financial one due to a low uptake

Students from Aberdeen University have staged a protest outside the Scottish Parliament as MSPs debate over the future of language courses there.

Staff in the modern languages department were told in November their jobs were at risk after a decision to scrap single honours degrees.
