The pair are among the first tourists to fly into space on Virgin Galactic's flight

An Aberdeen University student on the first ever space tourism flight says she’s still ‘star struck’ after returning safely to earth.

Ana Mayers and her mother were among the first ever private passengers on the Virgin Galactic trip, which took off from New Mexico yesterday.

The pair are also the first mother daughter duo to ‘boldy go’ after winning the flight in a prize draw.
