Aberdeen City Council launches budget cut consolation

It aims to get local opinion on where the cuts should fall

Aberdeen City Council’s giving the public a say as it looks to cut £35 million from its budget next year.

A consultation presents options such as paying higher council tax or seeing the funding for sports and leisure facilities cut back.

Over the next four years it’s projected the local authority could be forced to make savings of around £83 million.
