A9 dulling campaigners address Holyrood Committee

Members heard the way contracts are awarded for the work needs to be urgently overhauled

Campaigners have told MSPs the A9 has been treated like a ‘country back road’ by the Scottish Government.

A Holyrood Committee was today urged to do more to speed up dualling the route, after it emerged civil engineers knew the target date to dual it was ‘inachievable.’
