A woman who can smell Parkinson’s has helped scientists develop a test to detect the disease earlier.
Joy Milne from Perth noticed a change in her husband’s smell 12 years before he was diagnosed with the illness.
Now, her remarkable gift has led to a simple skin-swab that will lead to earlier treatment and a better lifestyle for patients.
