£40m King’s Theatre redevelopment back on track, say bosses

Works are underway to modernise the building but traditional features have been retained.

After being shut for more than three years, bosses at Edinburgh’s King’s Theatre say construction is on track to make sure this will be the last Christmas without the traditional pantomime.

£40m worth of redevelopments are being made to modernise the building, but much of the traditional features have been retained.
