21,000 Ukrainian refugees in Scotland a year since invasion

While the displacement has been a mass one, every person has their own individual story to tell

It’s nearly a year since Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Since then, millions of people have had to leave the country, with more than 21,000 refugees coming to Scotland.

We’ve been speaking to two Ukrainian women who were forced to flee their homes and are now living here.
