104-year-old woman fulfils dream and feeds giraffes at zoo

An encounter with some gentle giants that she's waited a life time for

A 104 year-old-woman has fulfilled the dream of a lifetime by feeding the Giraffes at Edinburgh Zoo.

It was a birthday present for Betty Croy, who stays at Trinity care home in the Capital – and she grabbed the chance to hand feed the animals in their enclosure.
