A Nairnshire farmer had £14,000 worth of equipment stolen earlier this year.
Cutting into electricity cables carrying 11,000 volts was an "incredibly dangerous act", police said.

The theft occurred within Old School Road in New Byth at some point between 6pm and 11pm on Sunday.
A number of items were stolen from the property in Bearsden’s Jubilee Gardens.
Police have yet to work out how the thieves are gaining access and stealing the vehicles.
A Kia Ceed was also pinched from a driveway in another theft in Aberdeen.
The 29-year-old victim was targeted in the St Ninians area of Stirling at around 1.15pm on Monday.
The Auto-Trail Tribute T720 was stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday morning in Bishopbriggs.
