Hibernian and Dundee United get their European campaigns under way in the qualifiers of their respective competitions next month.
They will both discover their first opponents on Wednesday as the draws for all three major continental tournaments take place.
Hibs begin in the Europa League qualifying rounds and have six potential opponents, while United, who are aiming to reach the Conference League, have eight different teams that they could be drawn against.
Jim Goodwin’s men, who finished fourth in the Premiership last season, will be seeded in their draw, while the Easter Road club, who finished third, will be unseeded.
However, if Hibs lose the tie, then they will drop into the Conference League third qualifying round, but United’s European campaign will be over if they are defeated over two legs.
Potential opponents for Hibernian (12pm draw)
Hibs enter the continent’s second tier competition in the second qualifying round, with the first leg played on July 24 and the second a week later.

- The winner of Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) v Ilves Tampere (Finland)
- The winner of Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) v FC Prishtina (Kosovo)
