Scotland manager Steve Clarke is facing questions from the media ahead of the national side’s crunch Uefa Nations League meeting with Ukraine.
The Scots could see their ambition of promotion from League B Group One all but ended if they fail to beat the side who decimated their World Cup hopes earlier this year.
Clarke has already been slightly hampered by the withdrawal of Jon McLaughlin, Grant Hanley and Jacob Brown from the squad – which will also face Ukraine in Poland after a home tie with the Republic of Ireland.
Defeat in Dublin at the start of the summer provided a severe setback to their Group A promotion campaign.
