Scotland’s bid to reach the European Championships continues this week as the national team travel to Cyprus for their latest qualifier.
Steve Clarke’s side have enjoyed a perfect start to qualification, winning all four matches in the first half of the campaign to sit at the top of the Group A table.
Three points from the match in Larnaca on Friday would be a significant step toward reaching next year’s finals, and might be enough to secure qualification if other results go Scotland’s way.
The Cyprus match isn’t the only challenge Scotland will face over the next week. Once the qualification business is out of the way, thoughts will turn to the not insignificant matter of the 150th anniversary match against England at Hampden.
A member of the Scotland staff will be discussing all the latest from the camp at Tuesday’s media conference.
