Reo Hatate has left Celtic after more than four years at the club to join Burnley.
The Japanese midfielder, who made over 191 appearances for the Hoops, will now play in the English Championship after falling out of favour in Glasgow.
It is expected the Scottish champions will be busy as the window closes on Thursday evening.
Striker Johnny Kenny has also left the club to join Preston North End in a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, Rangers midfielder Connor Barron has moved to Middlesbrough on loan after attracting interest from a number of clubs.
Warren O’Hara has also left Hibs to join Russell Martin’s Leicester City, while the Hibees have signed Serbian international Marko Ivezić from German side Holstein Kiel on a three-year deal.
Rangers’ Lyall Cameron has sealed a loan move to Dundee United, while former United man Dylan Levitt returned to the Scottish Premiership with Motherwell.
Scotland international Nathan Patterson has also sealed a permanent move to Torino from Everton, admitting, “sometimes in life things don’t go as planned”.
