Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic side to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

The Scottish champions take on their Bundesliga opposition at Celtic Park in the latest match of the competition’s new-look League Phase.

Celtic are aiming to build on the four points they’ve gained so far in the competition and take another step towards the knockout stages.

Rodgers’ side began the League Phas with a 5-1 demolition of Slovan Bratislava but suffered a painful 7-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on their first away day of the campaign.

Celtic got back on track with a battling 0-0 draw against Atalanta in Bergamo and are now hoping to follow that with a home win.

Kasper Schmiechel starts in goal for Celtic, behind a back four of Greg Taylor, Auston Trusty, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston.

Callum McGregor captains the side and is joined in a midfield trio by Reo Hatate and Arne Engels.

Kyogo Furuhashi is preferred to Adam Idah in attack, with Daizen Maeda and Nikolas Kuhn on the wings.
