Team news: Brendan Rodgers names Celtic side to face Borussia Dortmund

Auston Trusty starts for Celtic after Brendan Rodgers named the defender in his side to face Borussia Dortmund.

With Cameron Carter-Vickers sidelined through injury, his fellow USA international will start in the Champions League showdown at Signal Iduna Park.

Celtic, who have won every game this season, kicked off their League Phase campaign with a 5-1 thumping of Slovan Bratislava in Glasgow.

The Premiership champions face a sterner test against Dortmund, who reached the Champions League final last season.

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goal for Celtic, behind a back four of Greg Taylor, Liam Scales, Auston Trusty and Alistair Johnston.

Paulo Bernardo start in midfield alongside captain Callum McGregor and Arne Engels, while Kyogo Furuhashi leads the attack and is flanked by wingers Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn.
