Hearts have announced the signing of Stuart Findlay on loan from Oxford United, with the defender reunited with his former Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes.
Findlay becomes Hearts sixth summer signing, following Claudio Braga, Elton Kabangu, Alexandros Kyziridis, Oisin McEntee and Christian Borchgrevink in committing to the club.
The 29-year-old brings extensive experience of Scottish football from his time coming through the ranks at Celtic and loan spells with Morton and Dumbarton as well as three spells at Rugby Park.
Findlay has also spent time at Newcastle United and in MLS with Philadelphia Union.
McInnes shared his delight at bringing the defender into his revamped squad as he looks to deliver success next season.
“Stuart is obviously someone I know very well from the years we’ve previously spent working together,” the head coach.
“I know his attributes and every aspect of his game. He’s a domineering defender, strong and athletic, and he is a real leader on and off the pitch.
“I’m delighted to have him here at Hearts.”
