Steve Clarke has named a strong starting line-up for Scotland’s friendly against Turkey in Diyarbakir.
Craig Gordon starts in goals and Liverpool’s Andy Robertson captains the side at left-back with Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney also returning to the backline alongside Grant Hanley and Jack Hendry.
Newcastle winger Ryan Fraser also comes into the starting line-up with midfielders John McGinn, Billy Gilmour and Stuart Armstrong behind QPR forward Lyndon Dykes.
No Celtic players were released for the trip and Clarke is also without Kenny McLean, Che Adams and Nathan Patterson who all pulled out of the squad earlier this week.
The game is being held in the largest Kurdish majority city in Turkey and the manager says he is expecting a hostile reception in what is the national team’s last match of 2022.
