Steve Clarke has named a strong starting line-up for Scotland’s final pre-Euros friendly against Finland at Hampden.

The Tartan Army will be out in force to give the team a proper-send-off before heading to Germany, and Clarke and the players want another win to build momentum before the opening game in seven days’ time.

The head coach has hinted that the team he is sending out on Friday night will be close to the one that will face Germany at the Allianz Arena and it’s a strong starting line-up that has been announced.

Angus Gunn returns in goal behind a back three of Kieran Tierney, Grant Hanley and Jack Hendry.

Captain Andy Robertson is the left wing-back, while Anthony Ralston starts on the right.

In midfielder, Callum McGregor, Billy Gilmour and John McGinn start, with Ryan Christie playing an advanced role supporting striker Lawrence Shankland.

Clarke is likely to make full use of his substitutes and the remaining players in the squad will all be keen to get game time to bolster their chances of playing next week.

The substitute goalkeepers are Zander Clark, Craig Gordon and Liam Kelly, while Greg Taylor, Ross McCrorie, Liam Cooper, Ryan Porteous, and Scott McKenna are the available defenders.

Ryan Jack, Scott McTominay, Kenny McLean and Stuart Armstrong re the midfielders on the bench, while James Forrest and Che Adams are available in attack, as well as the late call-ups Lewis Morgan and Tommy Conway.

Following the match, and the farewell to the fans, the players and staff will return to their hotels before flying out to their training base in Germany on Sunday.
