Stenhousemuir move clear at top of Championship with late win against Partick

Stenhousemuir moved three points clear at the top of the William Hill Championship with a late 1-0 victory over third-placed Partick Thistle.

Hamzad Kargbo scored the only goal of the game for the unbeaten Warriors when he planted a firm header past Liam McFarlane after 76 minutes.

Ross County moved back to the top of League One with a thumping 8-0 victory over bottom side Queen of the South.

Chris Hamilton, Brian Graham and Kieran Phillips all helped themselves to two goals apiece while Richard Chin and Jamie Lindsay also got on the scoresheet in the closing stages.
