St Mirren have signed former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Dennis Adeniran following a trial appearance against Morton.
The former England Under-19 international has signed a one-year deal which could be extended based on appearances.
The 25-year-old made his first-team debut for Fulham in 2016 before moving to Everton, where he had a loan spell at Wycombe.
He then moved to Wednesday – scoring seven goals in 51 appearances over two seasons – and he has since played in the Portuguese and Israeli top flights.
“It’s a good opportunity for me to come back to the UK and get started again,” he told St Mirren’s website.
“The attraction of European football and the way the gaffer wants to play, his aspirations for the season, it just fitted perfectly for what I need right now in my career.
“It’s a good opportunity, playing in a top division, playing against big teams and playing in Europe. It’s a fantastic set up here and I’m enjoying it so far.
“I’m a hard-working player. I like to have the ball at my feet, I’m dynamic and I like to chip in with a goal or two.”
