Motherwell have announced Shane Blaney and Ross Callachan will be leaving the club this summer upon expiry of their contracts.
Decisions on the future of Dan Casey, Dom Thompson, Harry Paton and Davor Zdravkovski, whose deals are also due to run out, are set to be finalised once a new manager is appointed.
Defender Blaney, 26, arrived at Fir Park two years ago from Sligo Rovers and made more than 50 appearances for the club, although his last outing came in February.
Midfielder Callachan, 31, joined last year from Ross County but managed only one substitute appearance before suffering a serious hamstring injury last August.
The pair will be joined in heading for the exit by 19-year-old forward Mark Ferrie, who spent last season on loan at Bonnyrigg Rose.
Archie Mair, Ellery Balcombe, Marvin Kaleta, Kai Andrews, Tony Watt, Luke Plange, Will Dickson, Luke Armstrong, Jack Vale and Jair Tavares are all set to return to their parent clubs.
Casey, Thompson, Paton and Zdravkovski are also out of contract but clarity is expected on their futures once a replacement is found for manager Michael Wimmer, who left last week to return to Germany for family reasons.
“We remain in dialogue with all remaining players, whose personal circumstances are all different,” said a statement from Well. “Given the current managerial situation at the club, decisions will be made in the coming weeks with regards to these players.”
Tony Docherty, Robbie Neilson, Scott Brown, Ian Murray, Steven Naismith, Barry Ferguson and Temuri Ketsbaia are among the favourites to succeed Wimmer.
