Scottish transfer deadline day: Clubs race to sign new players as window closes

Scottish clubs have until 5pm on Thursday to sign new players as the transfer window gets set to close.

It was a busy day in Glasgow with champions Celtic making five signings on Wednesday, including four loan moves and one permanent deal.

Meanwhile rivals Rangers will be looking to add firepower in attack before tonight’s deadline.

Across the country, clubs will be looking to make last-minute moves to bolster squads with the season already under way.
