Pollok FC have booked a historic Scottish Cup meeting with Championship side Ayr United after upsetting Annan Athletic in a seven-goal thriller.
The West of Scotland Premier Division outfit were 4-1 up against their League Two opponents before two late goals ensured a nervy finish at Newlandsfield Park on Monday evening.
The club, based in Glasgow’s Southside, will face the second tier promotion-chasers after reaching the third round for the first time in their history.
The lowest-ranked sides remaining in the competition, Denny’s Dunipace and Glasgow outfit Drumchapel United, take on Cove Rangers and FC Edinburgh respectively.
Meanwhile, Auchinleck Talbot face Raith Rovers and Wick Academy host Falkirk, Highland league side Fraserburgh host Arbroath after dumping out Stranraer, while Sauchie Juniors, who eliminated Bonnyrigg Rose of League Two last weekend, face Linlithgow Rose.
Ties will be played on the weekend of November 26 and 27.
