A game in the Scottish Championship has been called off minutes before kick-off.
Queen’s Park and Ross County were set to do battle under the lights at the City Stadium on Friday, with kick-off set for 7.45pm.
Yet around 15 minutes before the action was set to get under way, the game was called off due to a frozen pitch.
Queen’s Park say the decision was taken on player safety grounds after discussion with managers from both teams.
A club statement read: “Tickets will be valid for the re-arranged fixture, however refunds will also be available. Supporters are asked to contact Queen’s Park FC on Monday to process these.
Ross County said on X: “Tonight’s match has been postponed. More information to follow.
“Apologies to all our traveling supporters.”
