The Scottish FA has announced that the men’s national team will travel to play Turkey in a friendly in November.
Steve Clarke’s side will be in action on November 16, though the exact venue and kick-off time have yet to be confirmed.
The match which will see the nations meet for the first time since 1960, is to serve as preparation for the European Championships qualifying campaign.
It will be the first time the Scotland squad had been back together since winning their Nations League group ahead of Ukraine and Republic of Ireland.
That earned the team a bump up to the second group of seeds in Euro 2024 qualifying.
Turkey, who are managed by former Germany international Stefan Kuntz, had mixed results in recent years and had dropped to League C in the Nations League.
Though strong early results mean they topped the group and won promotion, their last two matches saw them draw 3-3 at home to Luxembourg and then lose 2-1 away to Faroe Islands.
