Scotland have been drawn to face Serbia, Slovakia and Israel in their qualification group for Euro 2025.

Pedro Martinez Losa’s team will need to come through both the group stage and play-offs if they are to reach the finals next summer.

The group qualifiers will be played from April to June, with Scotland facing each side home and away. Dates, venues and kick-off times will be announced in due course.

Play-offs are scheduled to take place in October and November/December this year.

Qualifying is taking place under a new format this year, with UEFA aiming to mirror the Nations League structure.

There are 15 places up for grabs and 51 nations competing for them. Those 51 sides will be split among three leagues, named A,B and C, with the results from the 2023-24 Nations League used to determine who is in each league.

Each league is split into groups, with A and B having four teams and C consisting of five groups.

The top two teams in each League A group progress automatically to Euro 2025, while the third and fourth-placed League A teams go into the play-offs.

The top three teams in each League B group make the play-offs, as do the fiver group winners from League C and the three best-ranked runners-up.

The 28 play-off teams will then be cut to 14 for the second round, which will be seeded. The winners of those fixtures will progress to the finals.
