The teams have been named for the Rangers vs Kilmarnock clash at Ibrox in what will be their final games before the winter break.

Both sides will be aiming to begin 2024 on a high before the Premiership is halted for three weeks.

Philippe Clement’s men are looking to bounce back from the 2-1 loss to Celtic in what was their first defeat under the Belgian.

January signing Fabio Silva could make his debut as he starts the game on the bench following his loan move from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Nico Raskin is also on the bench as he makes a return from injury.

Killie on the other hand arrive at the Ibrox on the back on a six game unbeaten run that includes four wins, including a 2-1 victory over the Hoops, and two draws.

They also defeated Rangers at Rugby Park in the last meeting between the sides in the first game of the season.

The home side are eight points off the top with two games in hand and can cut the gap to five for at least a couple of hours if they can get the better of Derek McInnes’ side, with the league leaders not kicking-off until 5pm.

Clement has made two changes from Saturday’s defeat as he replaces Leon Balogun and Dujon Sterling with John Souttar and Kieron Dowell.

Jack Butland starts again in goals behind a back-four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Souttar and Ridvan Yilmaz.

John Lundstram anchors a three-man midfield beside Dowell and Todd Cantwell with Abdallah Sima and Ross McCausland playing either side of Cyriel Dessers.

The visitors start with Will Dennis in goals behind Corrie Nbada, Lewis Mayo, Joe Wright and Stuart Findlay with a three man-midfield of Liam Donnelly, Liam Polworth and Rory McKenzie.

Danny Armstrong and Matt Kennedy are out wide as they look to supply the ammunition for Kyle Vassell.

There will a minute’s silence prior to kick-off to remember those who lost their life in the Ibrox disaster in 1971.
