Rangers have released a new range of sportswear in collaboration with rock and roll band AC/DC.
The band was formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.
One of the best-selling groups of all time, AC/DC have sold more than 200 million records worldwide and Angus, 67, a Rangers fan, was a special guest for the club’s SPL title party in 2010.
Rangers said AC/DC was “closely involved” with the creation of the range and “hope fans will enjoy it”.
The merchandise collection features the Rangers FC crest and the iconic AC/DC lightning bolt logo.
The limited edition range includes hats and scarves, polos and t-shirts as well as jackets.
In 2021, Umbro teamed up with the rock legends to create a homage to the band’s performance at the Glashow Apollo in 1978 when they wore that year’s Scotland jersey.
The sportswear brand released a reissue combining the distinctive diamond taping AC/DC’s high voltage logo and a screen-printed ‘78’ on the back.
