Rangers have announced a pre-season friendly against Spanish giants Real Madrid in Glasgow.
The Scottish champions will take on the 13-time European Cup winners at Ibrox on July 25.
The game will come only a week before Steven Gerrard’s men begin their defence of the Premiership trophy at home to Livingston.
Madrid’s star studded squad, including Euro 2020 stars Karim Benzema and Luka Modric, will be eager to impress new manager Carlo Ancelotti in what will be one of his first games since joining from Everton at the end of last season.
The friendly will be only the second time Real Madrid have played at Ibrox, and their first there since 1963 when the legendary Ferenc Puskas scored to earn the then European Champions a 1-0 win.
Rangers will also play English Premier League side Arsenal in a friendly the week before, with games against Tranmere, Blackpool and Brighton making up their pre-season schedule.
