Rangers have revealed details of the team’s pre-season plans, including two friendlies at Ibrox this summer.
The Premiership side are still in the process of recruiting a new manager, and nearing the completion of a takeover by American investors, but have already put in place the details of the team’s pre-season.
With Champions League qualifying to start on July 22, and a number of new signings expected as part of a revamped squad, the team will have little time to prepare for the challenges of next season.
The new head coach will welcome his players for the first day of training on June 23, and the first friendly will played less than a fortnight later.
Rangers will play their first game under new management when they face Club Brugge in a friendly at Ibrox on Sunday, July 6 with a 2pm kick-off.
The squad will then head to England for a training camp at St George’s Park the following day.
The Ibrox club have also confirmed a second friendly, against Middlesbrough at home on Saturday July 26 with a 2pm kick-off.
