Getty ImagesRangers have signed striker Ryan Naderi in the last minutes of the transfer deadline window.
The 22-year-old has been plying his trade in the third tier of German football with Hansa Rostock, who are battling for promotion.
Naderi began his career in his home town of Dresden but moved to Borussia Monchengladbach in 2021 and played for their second team.
A move to Hansa followed in 2024 and after a promising first season where he scored five times, he’s made a big contribution to their promotion push this term.
Naderi has become the newest Gers player by the close of the transfer window at 11pm on Monday for a fee of £4.7m.
Rangers have already been busy in the January window as they look to put together a squad that can beat Hearts and Celtic to the Premiership trophy.
Midfielder Tochi Chukwuani, left-back Tuur Rommens and winger Andreas Skov Olsen have all been added to Rohl’s group of players.
