Rangers are hopeful of concluding deals for Sturm Graz midfielder Tochi Chukwuani and Westerlo left-back Tuur Rommens.
Bids have been made for both players as the Ibrox side look to strengthen and push on in the title race, and the club are understood to be pressing hard to get the deals over the line quickly.
After an upturn in form since the arrival of head coach Danny Rohl, Rangers are now second in the Premiership and just three points behind leaders Hearts, having played a game more.
Rohl has spoken about his desire to get players in early, and pointed to the left side of defence, where he only has Jayden Meghoma as a natural full-back, as an area he was looking at.
Rommens has been identified as a player who can compete in that position, and it’s understood a bid in the region of £3m has been tabled, with around £4m offered to Sturm Graz for Chukwuani.
Westerlo left-back Rommens began his career at Genk but moved to his current club in 2023. The 22-year-old, who has played for Belgium at the youth level up to Under-21, has played 15 league matches this season.
Chukwuani, also 22 years old, has played 16 league matches for Sturm Graz this season.
As well as playing in the Champions League qualifiers, he has made five Europa League appearances, facing Rangers and Celtic. He was sent off against the latter in his side’s 2-1 defeat at Celtic Park.
