Philippe Clement has named his Rangers team to take on Real Betis as they look to secure a place in the Europa League knockout stages.

A win would see them progress to the next round of the tournament they reached the final of in 2022 no matter the result in Thursday night’s other game between Sparta Prague and Limassol.

They could also still stay in the competition if Sparta draw or lose in Cyprus no matter the result in Seville.

Even in the worst case scenario they will still have European football in the new-year with a place in the Conference League at least guarenteed.

Clement remains undefeated in all competitions after 12 games as Rangers manager and will be hoping he can continue that run against the La Liga side.

They also have the League Cup final against Aberdeen to look forward to on Sunday and will want to be going into that one on a high.

The Belgian has named Jack Butland in goals behind a back-four of Tavernier, Goldson, Davies and Barisic.

Jose Cifuentes and John Lundstram will anchor the midfield with Ross McCausland and Abdallah Sima out wide and Sam Lammers in behind Cyriel Dessers up top.

Todd Cantwell is missing for Rangers after being left back in Glasgow over personal reasons while Leon Balogun and Ridvan Yilmaz are not in the European squad.
