Rangers midfielder Jose Cifuentes has joined Greek side Aris Thessaloniki on a season long loan deal.
The 25-year-old Ecuador international moved to Ibrox from MLS side LAFC last summer and made 20 appearances across all competitions last season.
He spent the second half of the campaign at Brazilian side Cruziero on loan after falling down the pecking order under Philippe Clement.
Rangers announced the departure on Tuesday just hours before they take on Dynamo Kyiv in the second-leg of their Champions League qualifier.
A social media post said: “Jose Cifuentes has joined Aris Thessaloniki on a season-long loan, with an option to buy.
“This follows the ending of his loan spell with Cruzeiro.
“Everyone at Rangers wishes Jose well in Greece.”
