Michael Beale has named his Rangers side to face PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox, making seven changes to the team for the first leg of the Champions League play-off.

Rangers warmed up for the crucial European match with a 2-1 Viaplay Cup win over Morton on Saturday, with the manager taking the opportunity to use his squad and rest some players.

He’s now made his choice for the hugely important match against PSV, with the winner of the tie taking a place in the prestigious, and lucrative, Champions League group stages.

The Ibrox side are hoping to gain a positive result on home turf on Tuesday, ahead of the return match in the Netherlands next Wednesday.

Four of Beale’s summer signings start the first leg, with five more on the bench.

Jack Butland is in goal, playing behind a back four of Borna Barisic, John Souttar, Connor Goldson and captain James Tavernier.

Ryan Jack, Nicolas Raskin and Jose Cifuentes make up a midfield trio, while Todd Cantwell and Abdallah Sima play in support of striker Cyriel Dessers.

Beale has plenty of options on the bench, with Robby McCrorie, John Lundstram, Sam Lammers, Rabbi Matondo, Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling, Scott Wright, Ben Davies, Leon Balogun, Leon King, Adam Devine and Danilo all named as substitutes.
