Rangers goalkeeper Liam Kelly has agreed a contract until the end of the 2028/29 season.
The 30-year-old, understudy to Jack Butland, has featured 16 times for the club in the last two seasons since returning in the summer of 2024.
The goalkeeper left Rangers in 2018 and had played for Livingston and QPR as well as Motherwell in the time since, as well as breaking into the Scotland set-up, where he will feature at the World Cup.
Kelly has now been rewarded with a new two-year contract.
Speaking after committing his future to Rangers, he said: “I’m delighted to extend my stay here at Rangers.
“Coming back to the club has been a special experience, and I love being here. We’ve got a really strong and competitive goalkeeping department, which pushes us all to improve every day, and it’s certainly an environment I enjoy being part of.
“It’s exciting to commit to what the club is desperate to achieve, and I’m looking forward to continuing to work as hard as I can with my teammates to do our utmost to create special memories for our fans in the years ahead.”
Head Coach, Danny Röhl, added: “We’re thrilled that Liam has signed a contract extension.
“He is a consummate professional who sets a brilliant example in his everyday work. Whether it’s on the pitch, on the training ground or supporting his teammates behind the scenes, his attitude and commitment never waver.
“Liam’s experience and knowledge of this football club are invaluable. He understands exactly what it means to represent the badge, and we’re pleased that he’ll continue to play a key role as we look to achieve our goals.”
