Rangers have been handed a fine by UEFA over an incident during their Europa League match against Brondby in Denmark.
The governing body on Friday stated that the club would be fined €5250 for the lighting and throwing of an object during the clash earlier this month.
UEFA said that it had closed the proceedings opened against Rangers for alleged crowd disturbances.
Brondby have also been handed fines amounting to €43,000 resulting from the same game.
The punishment was handed to Brondby for reasons including crowd disturbances, insufficient limitation of spectator movement, throwing of objects, blocking of public passageways, lighting of fireworks, and transmitting a provocative message of an offensive nature.
Meanwhile, Celtic were fined £12,500 over an anti-UEFA banner displayed by fans during their Europa League match against Ferencvaros.
The banner was seen as a criticism of the decision to schedule the match as a 3.30pm kick-off on Tuesday, October 19 to avoid a clash with Champions League games being played later that evening.
