Holders Rangers will take on Dundee in the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup, with Celtic facing Championship side Falkirk at Parkhead.
Motherwell take on Dundee United at Fir Park in the second all-Premiership clash, while Aberdeen have a home tie against Spartans.
The Spartans produced the shock of the second round as the fourth-tier side stunned Ross County with a 1-0 win at Ainslie Park on Saturday. Falkirk joined them as lower-league representatives in the last eight when the Championship side earned a well-deserved 2-0 win over Hearts.
Dundee kept their impressive start to the season going with a 6-1 demolition of Airdrieonians, while Aberdeen left it late to secure a 1-0 win over Queen’s Park.
Rangers were 2-0 winners over St Johnstone at Hampden, while Dundee United came out on top against St Mirren in another all-Premiership tie.
Motherwell defeated Kilmarnock 1-0 at Fir Park to book their place in the draw, while Celtic enjoyed a second win over Hibs in a week when they were 3-1 winners at Parkhead.
The eight winners will play their quarter-final ties on the weekend of September 21/22, with kick-off times to be confirmed in due course.
