New signings Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo got on the scoresheet as Rangers eased beyond West Ham United to record their second straight pre-season win.
The former Derby County man scored the first of three second half goals within ten minutes of the restart following a first-half stalemate, before Ryan Kent doubled the hosts’ advantage 90 seconds later.
Welsh international Matondo added a third prior to the hour but Tomas Soucek pulled a goal back for David Moyes’ side.
The Hammers fielded a strong team featuring the likes of Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Declan Rice from the start, although both sides made a flurry of changes during the 90 minutes.
Rangers new boy Ben Davies was paraded on the pitch at the interval, but two of Giovani Van Bronckhorst’s other summer recruits did the damage after the break.
Within three minutes, Lawrence side-footed beyond Lukasz Fabianski from a Matondo set-up before Kent’s emphatic finish made it two.
It was then Matondo’s turn to get on the score sheet as he found the roof of the net, only for Soucek to crash in from a corner and reduce the deficit.
However, Rangers held on for the win despite some later Hammers pressure and round off a London double in Glasgow on Saturday with the visit of Tottenham Hotspur.
They then take on Livingston in their cinch Premiership opener on July 30.
