Rangers defender Ben Davies has joined Oxford United on a season-long loan.

The move follows the defender’s loan spell with Birmingham City last season, where he made over 40 appearances as they won the title in England’s League One.

Rangers boss Russell Martin, who said he would be happy once the transfer window closes, revealed that Ridvan Yilmaz and Jose Cifuentes are also on the verge of leaving the club before the deadline.

Yilmaz is set to return to Turkey, and Cifuentes is to move to Toronto.
