Connor Goldson has left Rangers to sign for Cypriot side Aris Limassol.
The Ibrox club have confirmed the 31-year-old defender’s departure for an undisclosed fee.
Goldson spent six seasons at Rangers and was a lynchpin and vice-captain of the team who won the league in 2020/21 and reached the Europa League final the following season.
He also won the League Cup and Scottish Cup during his time in Glasgow but trophies proved to be too few and far between as they struggled to end Celtic’s domestic dominance.
Signed by Steven Gerrard in 2018 he went on to make over 300 appearances at the club and was a mainstay of the team under Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Michael Beale and most recently Philippe Clement, although he missed a large part of the end of last season with an injury.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Rangers said: “We can today confirm Connor Goldson has departed the club to join Cypriot side Aris Limassol for an undisclosed fee.
“Everyone at Rangers wishes him the very best of luck in his future endeavours.”
