Rangers are set to unveil Abdallah Sima as their fifth summer signing within the next 24 hours.
The Brighton forward underwent a medical on Wednesday and the terms of a season-long loan deal have been agreed.
If all goes to plan, he should be confirmed as manager Michael Beale’s latest addition within the next 24 hours.
Sima, a Senegal international with four caps, hasn’t yet played for Brighton but moved to the Seagulls in 2021 after catching the eye with his performances for Slavia Prague.
He has since had loan spells at Stoke City and French side Angers, and looks set to continue his development in the Premiership next season.
The 22-year-old would become the latest recruit in a summer of change for Rangers, with the squad undergoing and extensive overhaul.

Zukowski joined the club in January 2022 as cover for James Tavernier but made only one first team appearance.
