Rangers have booked in a second pre-season friendly against German opposition with a trip to TSG Hoffenheim.
Michael Beale’s side will travel to the Bundesliga club on Saturday, July 29, a week before the Scottish Premiership season kicks off.
The Gers will face their first Champions League qualifier on August 8 and will test themselves against the German outfit – who finished 12th in their domestic league last year.
The fixture also comes a week after the Ibrox club face Hamburg in Glasgow, with a match against Newcastle United in Alan McGregor’s testimonial also pencilled in for next month.
Hoffenheim flirted with relegation from the top flight last term and parted company with André Breitenreiter in February before Pellegrino Matarazzo guided them to safety, winning five of the last ten games.
Rangers will discover their opponents in the third qualifying round of the Champions League on July 24.
