Rangers will meet Celtic in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup quarter-finals.

The pair will meet at Ibrox after both had contrasting routes to the last eight.

The Light Blues thrashed Queen’s Park 8-0 on Sunday after Celtic survived a major scare to beat Dundee 2-1 in extra-time the previous day.

Premier Sports Cup holders St Mirren have a home tie with Partick Thistle standing in their way of a swift return to Hampden.

Falkirk were handed a home tie against either Dundee United or Spartans after overcoming Stenhousemuir in extra-time on Sunday.

Dunfermline are at home again after seeing off Kelty Hearts. Neil Lennon’s side will host the winners of the rearranged fifth-round match between Aberdeen and Motherwell.

The games will be played around the weekend of March 7-8.

Falkirk manager John McGlynn said he was “delighted” his team got a home draw.

“We’ve been away the last two rounds so delighted to get a home tie,” he said.

“When you get to the quarter-finals, there’s not going to be any easy games but we’re at home, so we’re pleased.”
