The club and manager were charged separately with being late for kick-off. Celtic were fined €15,000 with Lennon being warned about his conduct.

The Scottish champions also received a formal warning over the return leg in Glasgow. Celtic were told that they had broken rules on the “oversized manufacturer identification” on headgear worn by a member of the squad.
